Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) are a system of alternate schools for gifted better students in India. They are run by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, New Delhi. It is an autonomous organization under the Department of School Education. Its magnitude lies in the selection of talented rural children as the target group. It is try to provide them with quality education comparable to the best in a residential school system. The Students who are Admission to Class 6th of the JNVs requires qualification in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST), an entrance exam designed, developed, it is conduct by the CBSE. Selection of the students will be based on Cut off marks in the written examination.

Eligibility Criteria for JNVST 2018-18
Age Limit: Candidates Age must be 8th to 12th Year.
Educational Qualification:– Candidates Must be studying in the 5th Class for the whole of the academic session 2017-18 in govt authorized board or ‘B’ certificate competency course of National Institute of Open Schooling in the same district.
Selection Process:– Candidates selection procedure will be based Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test Marks.
